A Smart App has been developed by one of our Committee Members, Pat King. It calculates the amount of money you can save by undertaking specific energy savings works.
The potential savings are calculated using the best available information.
The App also shows how much your net investment will be after taking account of the upcoming Ballynagran Small Grants Scheme Scheme.
While the precise details have yet to be announced the assumption for this current exercise is that the grant will be a max of €2,500.

Instructions
1) In the Yellow Column enter the cost of quote/estimate for work to be carried out on your house.
2) In the light-green box at the top of the table enter Maximum Grant (if it is not €2,500) which is specified by Council. This figure will be on our website http://www.ballynagran.com/
3) The table will update itself automatically once you click your mouse outside of the box you have just filled in. Do NOT press Enter/Return!
4) If you want to experiment with another combination, refresh the page and start again OR just delete/replace the figures and click your mouse outside of the box.
5) On a tablet, instead of clicking the mouse, just tap the screen!

You will see, above, that an investment in this type of work will pay for itself many times over in 10 years. Not to mention increasing the value of your house.
